Niklas Engelin filled in on tour for In Flames in place of Jesper Strömblad in the 90s, then again between 2006 and 2007 while he was "taking a break" from the band, and is currently taking Strömblad's place onstage again while he receives treatment for alcohol addiction.
Jesper Strömblad appears on the Annihilator album 'Metal,' collaborating with a solo on the song, "Haunted."
