Band History
War Kabinett was founded on March 2004 when singer Ilyic Histerkant invited the guitar player Zeythan to make a band for their college's festival. Histerkant invited Jörgen Arvidsson to play drums and Zeythan brought Ziggy to play the second guitar.
A few weeks later Histerkant invited Master Luis Zepeda to play the keyboards for the Kabinett and finally, Ilyic called Graff who was an old band mate of Ilyic in his former project, to play the bass.
After a year of songwritting and a hard search for a name, Zeythan and Histerkant decided to call the band War Kabinett for it is a perfect abstraction for the purpose and concept of this band.
On September 2005 Histerkant asked The Arkitecht to play the keyboards with the Kabinett for their debut as a formal band at the Fermatta Music Academy's Summer Festival 2005.
Luis Zepeda had to leave the band due to his hard schedule and work compromises. Graff left the band too.
In may 2006, Jorgen had to leave the band due to medical complications. Unfortunatelly, the worst desease for a drummer attacked on him and he wasn't able to play for a long time. After this, Ivan replaced Hostile on drums and finally Ärger was invited to play the bass.
After the band was complete, they began the pre-production of their first matherial "Weakminded" which was recorded from september 2006 to january 2007 and was released on october 20th 2007.
Nowadays the band is promoting "Weakminded" and composing the matherial for their first Long Play recording which will be released in summer 2009.
