Additional notes
From Vila Nova de Gaia, Biolence, initially formed by Pedro as lead vocals, César - guitars and backing vocals, Dani on the drums (Project’s founders), and, after some attempts, Jaime as bassist (former Hellcome), began in 1998, starting in Moda Café (former Zum Zum), where they were pronounced winners of the Revelation Band Contest. After this motivating event several other performances were followed, leading afterwards to a Demo CD recording.
In 2004, Biolence experienced a restructure of its sonority, caused by a period of several changes of band members: César in the guitars / backing vocals, Dani on the drums, Jaime on the bass, David in the guitars and André as leading vocals. Currently, neither André nor Jaime are part of the project. So, in order to fill the vacancies César is now in charge of the leading vocals and Marco (the newest member) is the bass player, the most stable formation ever! Biolence has plenty experience in live shows in some renowned spaces, such as Hard Club and many others. In addition, the band has also participated in festivals and band contests, namely in Loud Metal Battle(Loud magazine contest), Gaia em Peso Festival,Ilha do Ermal Contest, etc. Throughout these years they have shared the stage with many bands, lots of good and bad experiences, but it was all worth it. The entire Biolence’s path was and is marked by Metal influences, as well as some Punk Hardcore.and is marked by Metal influences, as well as some Punk Hardcore.
