Necrofagus Satanica never belonged to the band, but he did help Devasth on the drum programming for "Unholy Ascendance of Satan" demo and the "Kult of the Black Flame" split. All the other efforts were done with programmed drum machine except for "Antichristian War Propaganda", where Lord Mantus recorded the drums.

Lux Ferre - Bell of Fate (live) - Pure Pain Fest
Lux Ferre was created in 2001 by Devasth and Baal Sabbath and soon the first demo tape was released “Wicked Riffs of War”. The second demo tape “Unholy Ascendance of Satan” was released in 2003 by War Productions on a very limited edition. This demo had a great acceptance in the underground and some months later the 3-way split CD “Kult of the Black Flame” was released once again by War Productions. In the end of this same year Lux Ferre participated with a song on the “Lusitânia Dark Horde” black metal compilation featuring fifteen Portuguese bands.
In the year of 2004 Lux Ferre joined Ketzer Records to release the first full length album entitled “Antichristian War Propaganda”. Released in December of that same year, this record allowed Lux Ferre to focus on performing live. During 2005 Lux Ferre went on an European tour together with Cirith Gorgor and Daemonlord and released a 4-way split entitled “Acerbus Mortis” through War Productions. After some successful live performances in Lusitanian lands the band decided to make a pause and focus on the new work.
Now, after a long time, Lux Ferre emerges with a brand new concept and sonority. Pestilens (Penitência) joined as guitar player and compositor allowing Lux Ferre to explore the darkest side of human thoughts. During the recording of the forthcoming album Vilkacis (Ars Diavoli, Malleus), which already played guitar on live performances, joined as a full time band member.
“Atrae Materiae Monumentum” is the name of the new album released by Ketzer Records in September 2009. You will never be the same...
