Picking up right from where they left off with the highly successful debut “Shrouded Divine”, “Monolith” continues with the same approach but this is an entirely different beast, with far more accomplished musicianship and songwriting. IN MOURNING garnered a lot of positive attention and rave reviews worldwide with their debut album “Shrouded Divine”. Formed in 2000 and although a relatively young band, IN MOURNING had already released 5 self-financed demos and thus developed a unique style of melancholic yet catchy songwriting throughout the formative years. “Monolith” is the logical follow-up album from the debut “Shrouded Divine”, but with a far more mature and progressive songwriting style, clocking over 55 minutes in running time.

BIOGRAPHY

In Mourning was formed in the year of 2000.

After the release of some demos, they released their debut album, “Shrouded Divine” on Aftermath Music in January 2008. The album got really great reviews from various magazines and webzines all over the world.

In the summer of 2009, In Mourning entered a new chapter by signing a 2-record deal with Pulverised Records. Their new album, “Monolith” will be the first release on Pulverised Records and is planned for an early 2010 release.
