MELTGSNOW Black Penance

MELTGSNOW (SINGAPORE)

Title: Black Penance

Format: Super Jewel Box CD

Release Date: TBA

Known for their blend of Dark-Goth influences with a strong vibe of Metal / Rock intensity, Singapore’s MELTGSNOW unleashes the much-awaited follow-up to the band’s 2003 debut, entitled “Black Penance”.

“Black Penance” exudes massive confidence and maturity in more detailed and thought-out song structures, but never for a moment drifting away from MELTGSNOW’s distinguishable trademark sounds that they have been notorious for. Ten alluring tracks of all-things grandeur, darkness and contempt!

Recorded at various locations in Singapore and Thailand, with the album mixed by Cedric (Meza Virs) at Inversion Productions and mastered by Swedish engineer-extraordinaire Jens Bogren at the highly respected Fascination Street Recording Studio (Opeth, Amon Amarth, Bloodbath, Paradise Lost, etc).

Having formed in 1999, MELTGSNOW went on to establish themselves as one of the few Goth-Metal acts from Singapore. Was one of the opening acts for Swedish Black Metal band Dark Funeral in Singapore during 2002. MELTGSNOW did a short one-week US tour in 2002, further showcasing the band’s musicianship and stage presence to a wider audience. The band went on to perform immensely throughout the years in Singapore and also the shores of Thailand, further getting more live experiences and also gaining more fan base. “Black Penance” was mixed by Cedric from Singaporean Black Metal band Meza Virs, whom has recorded and produced for several Singapore bands such as Nafrat, Hamartia, Fall Of Mirra to name a few.

For fans of Paradise Lost, Dir En Grey and Deathstars, etc!
