About KUMA'S CORNER
We are located at the corner of Belmont and Francisco (2900 W Belmont Ave) As Time Out Chicago says, "The best pub-burger in the city of Chicago". No b.s. One of the things that Kuma's is proud of is that, on the last Friday of every month, the p.m. bartenders donatates every single penny of their tips and salary for that day to a charity that affects the community around us. The donations have been distributed to wonderful causes like: The Chicago Abused Women Coalition ($821), The Paul Green School of Rock ($2000), and the Tequila Mockingbird fund ($3000), The Middian Defense Fund ($2500), Mat Arlucks medical bills ($8000), The United Coalition of Homeless Veterans ($2200), The Brands Park Fund ($2200), and The Wicker Park Dog Park($2500), a new play-ground for Brands Park ($1200), and various other causes that deserve to have recognition and support. For anyone who has been a part of the donations to any of these charities, I only wish to offer you my most sincere gratitude. Our community is demanding of our solidarity, strength, and actions. When self is abandoned, gratitude and humility are the only things remaining. Some of you have led me, others have joined. The actions of our singleness of purpose are unity and service to our community. There will always be room for anyone willing to offer freely of themselves! The staff consists of the Friendliest, most unique, and passionate people who have ever served you. You will feel like you have stepped into a cool home filled with art, music, food and beer. This is one restaurant that will remain on your "must try" list. It's a guaranteed good time, good meal, good conversation, and good people. Come check us out and make sure you bring your appetite!
