Intel, proud partner of Cakewalk- industry leaders of music creation and recording software- has successfully launched the Intel “Superstars” Competition powered by OurStage.com. Latin, singer-songwriter and urban artists can begin submitting their best original songs on the Intel Facebook page until October 22, 2010.
The Top 5 artists from each of the three competition channels will receive prize packages including personal computers based on Intel Core Processor technology along with Cakewalk music software.
The Top 20 superstar hopefuls in each competition channel will also be automatically eligible for a $10,000 cash grand prize to be awarded in January 2011 by a panel of industry experts. Just think what this cash prize could be used for: recording, touring the country- really anything a Superstar needs!
Artists must be eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Individual artists or a band member must be a legal resident of the 50 United States. An artist may submit only 1 (one) unique track into each of the Intel “Superstars” Competition Channels. If an artist submits the same song into multiple Intel “Superstars” Competition Channels, OurStage will remove the song from the genres deemed inappropriate. Accepted genres must fall into the Latin, singer-songwriter and urban genres as defined by OurStage.
All entries must be acceptable for radio airplay with clean lyrics. Entries must contain vocals, but do not have to consist solely of vocals. Entries must be accompanied by musical instruments.
