Borgne: Entraves de l'Âme

Sepulchral ProductionsRelease: 11/9/2010BorgneEntraves de l'Âme

After the mechanical fury of IV, Borgne is back with a more complex and torturous opus on which the martial and brutal parts are interlaced with darker, more eerie moments. On this album, Borgne mastermind Bornyhake has allied himself with Xasthur's Malefic and Vinterriket's CZ who supply very haunting keyboard pieces to the music. But don't let the somewhat more organic side of this new album fool you, Entraves de l'Âme will plunge you directly into a universe of hatred and horror...

3- Die Trying to Take Off the Rope

4- Dark Mirror

5- Suffering to Buy Our Poison

7- Moorwanderung

Borgne was assembled by mainmain Bornyhake in 1998, and quickly released it's first and only demo I, before going into hibernation for nearly ten years before coming back with a vengeance in 2007. Form there on, the band went into hyperdrive, putting out albums II and III in 2007, the 3.5 EP in 2008 and album IV in 2009. Entraves de l'Âme marks a departure from the numerical approach the group has followed since its inception, but music-wise, Borgne still evolves in the nihilistic spheres of industrial Black Metal
