Hell's Belles announce new member

In a statement to fans Hell's Belles announce new member and talk about the past, present and future of the band.

Hell’s Belles’s are first and foremost dedicated Ac/Dc fanatics.  This is what we all have in common, we’re all part of a huge community of devotees to one of the greatest Rock&Roll bands in the world.  This is who we all are, and this is what Hell’s Belles strives to deliver with mechanical precision and passionate fury.

And in that spirit, Hell’s Belles is so excited and pleased to announce a new member joining our ranks in 2011 – All the way from Australia and fresh off years of international rock touring with BugGiRL, May we present - Amber Saxon. Black haired and raven tempered, Amber’s the kind of bombastic hard rock power that makes no apologies and is dangerous around the edges. Featuring Bon Scott’s wildness and Brian Johnson’s toughness,  Amber’s TNT - She’s Dynamite. Not for the weak or the weary, Amber's hardscrabble Aussie roots mirror the start of Ac/Dc's long career legacy.  Just when you think Hell’s Belles can’t get any more authentic - It does.

Formed in ’00 by 2 hugely talented women, Om Johari & Amy Stolzenbach, add 10 years and untold amount of travel, adventures, and high voltage rock shows, Hell’s Belles has grown and evolved and just gotten better along the way.  ‘10 featured the joyous Belles reunion with original member Laura D behind the drums.  Laura, Mandy, Lisa, and Adrian “Angus” Conner can’t appreciate the joy and the opportunities we’ve enjoyed alongside our compatriots, our membership, and our fans. It’s completely about community, when you get right down to it.

Former lead singer, the lovely and talented Jamie Nova is off and running, pursuing her musical ambitions via touring relentlessly with her original rock band, Witchburn, and promoting her solo offering, “The Softer Side”. The burden of her increasing scheduling conflicts led to the decision to dedicate herself full time to her other interests.  We thank her for nearly 6 years of rocking out with Hell’s Belles and wish her the very best as she leaves our community to follow her dreams.

Shout out for savior singer Patrice Pike and congratulations as she fast approaches the release of her new CD March, ‘11.  Patrice is a multi-faceted musical goddess and did a phenomenal job holding down the stage last year during her rare appearances with Hell’s Belles.  We count Patrice among our blessings and look forward to more collaboration in the future.

Hell’s Belles 2011 – committed, ferocious, meticulous women rock musicians delivering Ac/Dc to the unbelievably supportive and wicked awesome fans.  ‘11 brings a full schedule of shows to be announced soon, some special live events for the fans (wink wink – stay tuned), the long overdue new studio recordings to follow up “We Salute You”, and with Amber Saxon’s bombastic authentic Aussie presence blowing up the mics all over the world, the addition of Ac/Dc material from the “Black Ice” release, and a highly charged vigor for Amber, Mandy, Laura, Lisa, and Adrian “Angus” Conner, it’s gonna be an explosive new year.  Let there be rock!
