Dawn of Disease was originally founded in the end of 2003. One year later the MCD "Through Bloodstained Eyes", which was sold out after a short time, was released via Unstoppable Media. The beginning of 2007 marked the end of the band due to line-up problems. But the resurrection with a new line-up didn't take a long time:
In the spring-time of 2009 co-founder and singer Tomasz fastly recruited drummer Mathias (who'd already been a member of DoD's last known line-up), Lukas (guitar) and Olli (guitar). Bass player Michael should follow bit later and completed the band shortly before the beginning of the recordings of the 4-track-promo "Soul Harvest" in november 2009.
The Swedish sound is a huge influence on the quintet. Dawn Of Disease are able to combine subliminal melodies with extreme hardness. Rapid blastbeats, pounding doublebasses and a perfect interaction of the guitars conglomerate to a killing mixture. The vocals, that are between dark growlings, aggressive screams and in-your-face shoutings complete the songs.
In Summer 2010 the band recorded their new album “Legends of Brutality” at Soundlodge Studio (God Dethroned, Dew-Scented, Sinister…) and will be released on April 22nd via NoiseArt Records!
