From the 2011 album “Heiðindómr ok Mótgangr”. “Viten og Mot (Stolthet)” means Knowledge and Courage (Pride). It is one of four lyrics on the album that are based on the words of Odin (Håvamål). Stolthet (Pride) is about preparing yourself to meet your enemies armed with both wisdom and skill. It’s about looking your enemies straight in the eyes and showing them who you are, rather than looking towards the heavens for protection or guidance. In the long run we are all alone and only through Knowledge, Courage and Pride can we achieve our goals”.
