BYTTING - Svart Depresjon

Originally called Svart Depresjon (Black Depression), Bytting was formed sometime during the summer of 2008, and was given its definitive name in December of the same year.
Nordic folklore has it that if a child suffered from either a physical or mental handicap, it was believed to be a “bytting”, the offspring of “underworld creatures” who had exchanged their own infant for a human child.

The “bytting” would then be burned, drowned or tortured to death under strict orders from the Church..
