Against Their Will is a metal band that strives to flow against the gimmicks and cliches that have populated the genre for years. Originally formed in late 2007, this band is a brotherhood made up of creative, boundary pushing, over the top, determined, and talented musicians who will stop at nothing to achieve that perfect harmony of metal mayhem. These four young men work perfectly together to revive a dying genre in need of a push. Armed with a fierce onstage presence, unmatched musical passion, and a relentless sound celebrated by many old-school metal fans; It's no wonder that Against Their Will is considered a local underground hero.
In 2009 ATW released their debut album "Dawn of the Black Sun" which featured 12 original tracks and also released a tribute album titled "Tribute to the Troops" which was sent overseas to the men and women of the armed forces. Tribute to the Troops continues to be passed around among our soldiers and shows our appreciation for their great sacrifices.
After unfortunate lineup changes brought along a long break, Against Their Will resurfaced in early 2011, more powerful than ever, and began recording a follow up EP with the help of Unsleeping Studios. Despite radio mentality, lack of production value, and the less-than-stellar sales of their debut effort; the as-of-yet untitled EP marks an evolution in the sound and direction in the band. Featuring harsh vocals, a heavy hitting rhythm section, and wild guitar solos that any Hammet fanboy is sure to love; Against Their Will's latest material proves to be a legitimate musical improvement. A brand new band with a new perspective on music, creativity, and commitment has been unleashed...Are you ready?
