Following their
official singing at the turn of the new year, the final details on the first
Southern Lord release from Ontario's BURNING LOVE are this week
available.
The band's
anticipated second LP, Rotten Thing To Say -- recorded by Converge
guitarist Kurt Ballou at Godcity Studio and mastered by Alan Douches at West
West Side -- boasts BURNING LOVE's
monolithic brew of rock-fueled punk/hardcore with more volatile riffage and
poetically-enraged lyrical content than ever before over the twelve anthems,
without a doubt boasts the band's most powerful material to date. Rotten
Thing To Say has been confirmed for an official North American street date
of June 19th via CD, LP and digital download.

Formed by several
members of previous act Our Father and infamous vocalist of Chris Colohan
(Cursed, Left For Dead, the Swarm), BURNING LOVE's output is detached from
comparisons to the members' previous acts. A filthy rock 'n roll-fed concoction
of deafening punk/hardcore propelled by beastly riffs and Colohan's raging,
caustic vocals, counterbalanced by occasional melodious grooves run the show
here.
BURNING
LOVE
are on the road now, headlining multiple dates throughout the Northeast, and
continue to book more dates as the album draws near. Following another slew of
headlining dates in early June, the band have been confirmed as one of the four
main acts for this Summer's massive Southern Lord package tour, where BURNING LOVE will tackle the US for
three weeks alongside labelmates MARTYRDÖD,
ENABLER and tour headliners
BLACK BREATH, with special guests POISON IDEA, NOOTHGRUSH, PELICAN, POWER TRIP, WILD//TRIBE, DEAD IN THE DIRT, THE SECRET and more joining the mayhem
on select dates.
