STRONG INTENTION "Razorblade Express" (featuring Mike IX Williams of EYEHATEGOD)

Maryland bands never fall short on extremity. Since the mid-ninties Baltimore's Strong Intention have been punishing the underground with their own blend of New York influenced hardcore breakdowns and blistering grindcore. Their unique sound has allowed Strong Intention the longevity to play out and tour with such undisputed acts as Cripple Bastards, Disfear, Phobia, E.N.T., Rotten Sound, D.R.I., Lock-Up and Misery Index, among others over their extensive career but they're just getting started. Strong Intention have an extensive and solid catalog of releases behind them and their latest, entitled Razorblade Express is no exception. Six brutal tracks quickly pummel through this record like running a hot knife through butter or taking a piss in the snow. The title track to Razorblade Express, which features a brilliant guest spot by Mike IX Williams of Eyehategod infamy, is a doomed ripper of a track and a real contrast to the five other nasty cuts which display the perfect "in your face" hardcore approach only East Coast bands can ever truly achieve on a record. With the first press limited to 500, this isn't one to sleep on. Give me vinyl or give me death.

Stay tuned, this record will be available this May.
