Amidst the growing
hype on their recently unleashed Wolves release and regional touring throughout
the Southwest over recent months, GODHUNTER continue their warpath
scheduling more live actions for the coming months. The band are one of the
local musical acts confirmed to annihilate The Nest Skatepark on July 28th,
where several pro skaters from the city will be in attendance and a documentary
crew will be filming a short movie about Tucson's local
scene.
GODHUNTER
are also fully coordinating and booking the first ever Southwest Terror Fest, a
two-day auditory assault confirmed to take place on October 19th and 20th, 2012.
The debauchery-ridden festivities will include over thirty bands in total,
featuring both local and nationally-based acts, some on tour and others specific
to this event. At press time TOAD
and Sons Of Tonatiuh and of course GODHUNTER are confirmed to perform, and
the full lineup including headliners and official sponsors is being locked down
to be announced in the weeks ahead. Stay tuned via the official Facebook page
for the event HERE.
GODHUNTER
will
enter the studio to lay down the follow-up to Wolves in mid-2013, the album to be
released later next year on a label to be determined. The band will record at
Arcane
Digital Studio (Exhumed, Misery Index, Phobia) in Chandler, Arizona. It will be
produced, engineered and mixed by Ryan Butler (Landmine Marathon, Unruh) and
mastered at Enormous Door Mastering in Austin, Texas.
In the meantime fans
can check out fan-filmed video from the band's recent Into The Void Tour, where
GODHUNTER tear through the brand new
song "Procession Of The Equinoxes" -- which they confirm will be the opening
track of the mentioned pending full-length -- AT THIS LOCATION and below.
Wolves can still be
streamed in its entirety and is available for purchase direct from GODHUNTER at
their Bandcamp
page.
