Unearthly is a black/death metal band born in 1998 in the city of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). With 4 studio albums (Infernum – Prelude to a new Reign, 2002; Black Metal Commando, 2003; Age of Chaos, 2009; Flagellum Dei, 2011), 1 compilation (Unmerciful Personalized Bestiality, 2007) and 1 live CD (Revelations of Holy Lies...Live!) released, the group benefits from great notoriety in the Brazilian underground metal scene.

With “Flagellum Dei”, recorded at Hertz Studio, in Bialystok, Poland, with the guidance of Wojtech and Slawek Wieslawski (who have already worked with the likes of Behemoth, Hate, Decapitated and Vader), Unearthly reached a higher level in the scale that leads to an extensive and resourceful career in a worldwide scale.

Celebrated by the specialized media as one of the best extreme metal albums to ever come out of Brazil, the record took the band’s name also to Europe, United States, the Middle East and Australia, places where “Flagellum Dei” has been collecting positive reviews. In general, they all highlight the high quality of the songwriting, the recording and the artwork.

In 2012, besides countless shows in Brazil (including some with Hate, Aborted and Decapitated), the band has also booked dates in Europe (Spain, Germany, Poland, Belarus, Slovakia, Russia), Australia, India, and has been searching, day after day, to widen the group’s popularity all around the world.
