Straight from the depths of the hardcore we witness the rebirth of violence in its purest essence, 100% hard, 100% bloodthirsty, 100% aggressive, this is “Straight to the Dome”, the newest Pro-Pain release, the pioneers of hardcore metal give us a powerful album with 11 tracks of pain, death, war, hatred, blood, that make us want to kick the shit out of everything.
Throughout their existence they did not stuck in simple hardcore references, their passion and talent made them a melodic hardcore metal band with much to show. Pro-pain are still impressing metal fans everywhere, “Straight to the Dome”, their 13th album is a hardcore piece of art with shattering solos and complex guitar lines in songs like “bitter pill” and “nothing left”, and at the same time a melodic experience, almost out of the range of the hardcore without losing its brutality, that sound can be heard in “A Good Day to Die” and “Zugabe!”.
Absolutely a great album that should be heard by every metalheads with frustrations to be released or simply that loves music loud as fuck. A great work with old school flavor and new diversity given by the years of experimentation of the band, the perfect balance between melodic and hardcore. Pro-Pain are without a doubt skilful masters of hardcore with much yet to explore and to give to metal community.
