Pyrgos Hleias, Greece, Anafis started in early July of 2011 as a two person project, Frost Gthullu and Solpsis Lord, later joined them Satan Prometheus for the bass, then, the project has invited for back vocals Orcus and Fenrir Gorlog joined the band to the drums. Were laying the foundations for the Anafis project.
Anafis already made a first demo entitled "Necro Ritual Butcher" and their future plans are to record an LP. They want to fuse Back Metal with other music genres to achieve a different sound out of the Black Metal limits."
The band has begun to prepare material for the upcoming split with Arsonist Templa. The Line-Up has changed many times since the creation of the band.

Anafi (Greek: Ανάφη) is a Greek island community in the Cyclades. In 2001, it had a population of 273 inhabitants. Its land area is 40.370 km². It lies east of the island of Thíra (Santorini). Anafi is part of the Thira regional unit.
According to mythology, the island was given the name Anafi because Apollo made it appear to the Argonauts as a shelter from a bad storm, using his bow to shed light upon it (i.e. the island name Ἀνάφη is derived from ἀνέφηνεν, he made appear). Others say that the name is due to the non-existence of snakes on the island: " An Ofis " (without snakes). In spite of its small geographical size, Anafi offers archaeological as well as mythological interest. At the monastery of Panagia Kalamiotisa, there are ruins of a temple built as an offering to the god Apollo Aegletus.
