Binah: Tree of life gives birth "Hallucinating in Resurrecture"

The great mother, the left path of the Tree of life, the “Understanding”, also known as Binah, the womb which hosts the “Wisdom” of Chokhmah (the right path of the Tree of life and the great father). Binah was responsible for balancing the universe, for restricting Chokhman`s power, if that had not succeeded the world would only have force with absence of form or wisdom without understanding and it would be impossible to exist. It´s ironic that the virtue of Binah is the silence cause they do have a lot of fucking sound but silence is necessary to hear and through hearing comes understanding, so let’s try to understand Binah… the UK trio Aort, Ilia R. G. and A. Carrier are here to share their vision of pain with us with “Hallucinating in Resurrecture”, pure darkness emancipated by pure death metal.

The journey begins, we are taken “Into the Psychomanteum”, and rapidly we are flooded by a calming melodie with a beautiful voice and sad guitar riff that rests your soul but that’s just the prelude for the forthcoming storm. After the first minute and twenty three seconds Binah unleashes an exploding chord of morbid sound that speaks for itself, death metal from the depths of the Sumerian echo that transpires an old era of ancient people and music as a tool of invocation.

Hallucinating in Resurrecture” has a sulfuric sound capable of melting your ears, a truly heavy distortion tone with an obscure atmosphere surrounding all the destruction delivered by a powerful and raging low tone growls, judgment day - like distortion guitar, furious drumming and by dark melodic synths. The perfect environment of apocalypse has been created, I almost can hear houses burning, meteors’ falling from the sky, large craters being opened in our soil, people screaming… as Binah creates, it also destroys!

Then you witness the “Buried Baptistry”, you still can hear chants, wind, water and bells like you're in a burial ritual but In the end the only thing that remains is the virtue, the silence, we are caught up in a dense environment as if we were in a dream all along, as if all the destruction brought us nothingness.

To hear Binah was enlightening, a real dark experience of hungry old school death metal with huge riffs and ambiance, I can say that I now am an “Understander” following Binah`s left path and I now share their vision, I became a fan and I say that this album deserves a spotlight in the metal scene, I am eager for more!
