BURNT BOOKS: At A Loss Confirms Release From Experimental Punk Outfit

At A Loss Recordings confirms the pending release of the debut full-length from Columbia, South Carolina-based experimental punk squad BURNT BOOKS.

Comprised of a collective of scene veterans having spent time in previous area acts including Thank God, Guyana Punchline, .fuckingcom, and Tunguska, BURNT BOOKS amalgamate their influences into a unique brew of angst-ridden, off-kilter punk mayhem. Amidst solid bursts of regional stateside touring since their mid-2011 inception, the band released their initial four-song demo early last year.

BURNT BOOKS hit the studio in mid-2012, shacking up with Phillip Cope (Kylesa, Baroness, Dark Castle) to lay down the tracks which would become their self-titled debut full-length, the ten anthems then mastered by Colling Jordan (YOB, Twilight). Artist Sam Ford (Black Cobra, Wizard Rifle) was commissioned to handle the striking cover art enshrouding this sonic attack. At A Loss Recordings will drop Burnt Books worldwide on January 29th, with a vinyl version to follow later in the year.

Stay tuned for new music from the record, stints of live excursions and more on BURNT BOOKS to be announced in the weeks ahead.
