EL DRUGSTORE: First Full-Length Under Construction For Spring Delivery

Keyport, New Jersey-based progressively rabid metal trio EL DRUGSTORE is currently full-on in construction mode, demoing and preparing its debut full-length.

Featuring guitarist Kevin Conway (ex-East of the Wall), drummer Seth Rheam (East of the Wall) and bassist Rolando Alvarado, this Keyport, New Jersey-based outfit have been dropping their brew of aggro-technical metallic racket since 2008. Their debut, a split full-length with cohorts A Fucking Elephant -- which marked the maiden release for both bands’ then newly-founded Nefarious Industries -- EL DRUGSTORE are now beyond balls-deep in the songwriting process for Plague Ship, their first studio full-length. The album will be recorded in the coming weeks, and is slated for a late Spring release, once again via Nefarious Industries.

EL DRUGSTORE recently released a demo version of “Fascinating Underpants,” one of the mangled anthems set to be a part of Plague Ship. The track was posted as an exclusive premiere via American Aftermath, who describes the madness as “full of spiraling licks and jarring rhythms that will melt your measly brain upon listening.” MELT BRAINS HERE.

With tour plans for 2013 coming together, EL DRUGSTORE has one more gig left this year, playing this Saturday at Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus Bar at Behold The Arctopus’ record release show, followed by several other area appearances early in the year. Stay tuned for additional live mayhem to be declared.
