Steven Wilson stream the studio version of ‘Luminol‘

Steven Wilson has released for stream the studio version of ‘Luminol‘ taken off the upcoming third solo album ‘The Raven That Refused To Sing (and other stories)‘,  It will be released 25 February 2013.

The album was written between January-July 2012 and recorded in Los Angeles in September with Steven’s current band line up featuring Guthrie Govan on lead guitar, Nick Beggs on bass guitar, Marco Minnemann on drums, Adam Holzman on keyboards and Theo Travis on saxophone and flute. The album was engineered by legendary producer/engineer Alan Parsons.

A full length animation video for ‘The Raven That Refused To Sing’ will be released soon.




The Raven That Refused To Sing (and other stories)
Steven John Wilson (born 3 November 1967) is an English musician and producer, best known as the founder, lead guitarist, singer and songwriter of progressive rock band Porcupine Tree. He is involved in many other bands and musical projects both as musician and producer (including No-Man and Blackfield) and also maintains a solo career. In 2010, Wilson began writing music alongside Opeth frontman Mikael Åkerfeldt for their project, Storm Corrosion.
Wilson is a self-taught producer, audio engineer, guitar and keyboard player, playing other instruments as and where required (including bass guitar, concert harp, hammered dulcimer and flute).
