2012 was a big year for the band with stunning performances at the Exit Festival 2012 where they lit up the Explosive stage and at Summer Sarajevo Metal Fest 2012. Alongside this the sextet won first place at Gitarijada Ratkovo 2012 which complimented and built upon the band’sthird place at CMOK Fest Crvenka the previous year. Even more importantly for the world the band entered the renowned Blaze Studio studios in Belgrade to record their debut album.
Released via Miner Recordings from Switzerland in November 2012, Absolute Profit revealed an even more impressively sculpted yet expectantly devastating sound from a band developing into one of the most exciting and aggressively irresistible bands in Europe. Consisting of ten songs, 5 in Serbian, 4 in English, and one instrumental, Absolute Profit in its early weeks has already lit up internet radio, the critical media, and an rapidly growing fan base across Europe and beyond as Putrid Blood spreads their wonderfully unpredictable, intriguing, and fully compulsive sounds through tracks like the ravenous ‘Vulture, the corrosive ‘Silovanje’, and the intimidating ‘Kontraudar’from within the infectiously inventive album. Its release sparked 2013 into life for the band, a year which is destined to be massive for Putrid Blood and thrash metal as they give it a fresh and new imaginative passion.
