The 16th edition of SWR barroselas metalfest is once again set to take place in the small village of Barroselas, in the north of Portugal, from 24th to 27th April 2013, during four days of pure metal cult and party.
Death metal founders Possessed are to be one of the most respected acts ever on the first stage of SWR barroselas metalfest XVI. Jeff Becerra and his fellows are presenting a unique show, revisiting some of the most influential tunes in metal.
Doom metal veterans Pentagram are also among the greatest attractions in the current edition of this renowned extreme music festival. Tempestuous black death worshipers Belphegor, heavy metal veterans Manilla Road, mysterious Agalloch, dark horde Secrets of the Moon, brutal death metallers Decrepit Birth and UK thrashers Onslaught are some more highlights in a festival that welcomes more than fifty acts from all over the world.
