"PROFANE PRAYER was formed in September of 2005 by guitarist G, vocalist The Saint (HORDES OF DECAY) and drummer/guitarist THC (HORDES OF DECAY) - three musicians who took as their inspiration traditional Black Metal bands such as Carpathian Forest and Darkthrone, and decided to play their own brand of old-school Black Metal. After a demo and an official album release and the cooperation with the likes of Daniel Vrangsinn (Carpathian Forest) and George Bokos (ex-Rotting Christ) it is time for new vomit to see the light of dusk.
The band's new album is entitled Tales of Vagrancy and Blasphemy. It represents is a step further into the darkness, a change of set, a new blend of true light and deceiving shadows. Recorded in Basement Studios, Athens and mixed and mastered in 210 Studio, Berlin by Stamos Koliousis and Vangelis Labrakis this is the sophomore album for Profane Prayer. Staying true to its original cults and influences, Profane Prayer establishes its own brand of remorseless Black Metal.
The album will be released on black Vinyl (ltd to 300), brown Vinyl (ltd to 100), Digipack CD (ltd to 50) and jewelcase CD by No Colours Records (DE) and as a free and legal download by Misantrof Antirecords.
