The Warriors of Metal, Inc. non-profit organization is dismayed to find out that due to unforeseen employment complications of one of their band members, Sonic Pulse has had to cancel their appearance at the festival this year. However, we are excited to announce that the replacement for Sonic Pulse has been determined to be the Puerto Rican Power Metal band Sacred Guardian.
Band guitarist, Jose A. Blondet states: "We are glad to announce that Sacred Guardian will be joining the Puerto Rican Metal invasion force to the United states with our brothers from Dantesco, Alas Negras & Solvo Animus as the record setting 4th band in the group and along with all of them except Dantesco we will be performing in the continental United states for the very first time! We are also very excited for our live performance at the Warriors Of Metal Fest VI Open Air in Ohio to be captured on film for the documentary that Dr. Nelson Varas-Diaz has been preparing for the University of Puerto Rico's Heavy Metal Studies for the past year. We can't wait to share the stage with so many great bands and our music with all the fans of the festival who come to this unique event to discover some new metal they didn't know of before. We are proud to represent the Power Metal side of the Puerto Rican Metal spectrum along with the Doom Metal of Dantesco, Thrash Metal of Alas Negras and the progressive Metal of Solvo Animus! We would like to thank our friend Erico "La Bestia" Morales of Dantesco for recommending us and the festival organizers for this opportunity.
