Post black metallers DOWNFALL OF GAIA will be returning to the States beginning August 16 in Wallingford, Connecticut with additional shows to be confirmed in the coming weeks. Additionally, DOWNFALL OF GAIA has posted a video that includes footage from their recent European tour. The skillfully shot, black and white video can be seen below.
Dark, ominous, yet not completely hopeless, DOWNFALL OF GAIA's music is as uplifting as it is overwhelming. The aural peaks and valleys fill the often lengthy tracks with a rewarding listening experience. The band’s critically-lauded album, Suffocating In The Swarm Of Cranes, was released in October of 2012. The music video for “In the Rivers Bleak” can be streamed at metalblade.com/downfallofgaia. Created by John Bradburn and Andy Paton and the clip, according to DOWNFALL OF GAIA, was filmed "on a rainy English night and delivers in a perfect way the mood we tried to capture on this record.
