The fifth annual female fronted hard rock fest, Dame-Nation™, will showcase performers from different parts of North America on August 15th, 2013.
CHICAGO - North America’s annual female-fronted hard rock event Dame-Nation™ comes to Reggie’s Chicago (2105 South State Street, Chicago, IL 60616) August 15th, 2013 in its fifth installment. There willbe two stages of live rock music: The Rock Club Stage and The Music Joint Stage.
The Rock Club Stage will feature the return of former Century Media recording artists Luna Mortis, as wellas unsigned talent from all over North America. Chicagoland and Dame-Nation™ favorite Deadmanswake will perform as direct support to the headlining Luna Mortis. Plague of Stars (from Minneapolis, Minnesota) and Anaria (from Pelham, New Hampshire) will also be showcased on the Rock Club Stage. Chicago, Illinois bands Phosphene and False Hope Fades will lend local support to this years’ main stage fest.
Grace Méridan (Eve’s Apple member) will take on the hosting duties for The Rock Club Stage festivities. Eve’s Apple is an international group of acclaimed female singers.
The Music Joint Stage will be hosted by Cradle of Filth’s Lindsay Schoolcraft. Cradle of Filth is one of England’s most extreme metal bands. Lindsay is also well known for her work with Mary and the Black Lamb as well as her solo efforts under the name of Schoolcraft.
The Music Joint will be headlined by hard rockers Scarlet Canary (Denver, Colorado). Taking the stage for a special acoustic performance will be a collective group of singers from Eve’s Apple (hosts Grace Méridan and Lindsay Schoolcraft joined by Luna Mortis’ Mary Zimmer, Plague of Stars’ Melissa Ferlaak, and Symphonic Metal vocalist VK Lynne). Chicago, Illinois bands Expired Empire, Genotype, and Killtherobotsdead will be supporting this years’ Music Joint experience.
Dame-Nation™ V will be at Reggies Chicago on August 15, 2013. Tickets are required to access either or both events. Advanced tickets for either stage room are $10 each or $18 for access to both stage rooms. Day of show tickets sales will be $15 for either stage or $26 for access to both stage rooms.
