THEORIES will embark on their next full-on road warrior escapade in just over one week, busting out of Portland, Oregon next Wednesday, October 2nd with seventeen more cities in line after the opening night's slaughter. Along the way they'll hook up with Death March and ACxDC for several shows each throughout Califonria on the way to take part in this year's Southwest Terror Fest where THEORIES will close out the fest on the fourth and final day of the gathering alongside Early Graves, Children Of God and a ton of others on Sunday October 13th, before trekking back north, closing with a welcome-the-fuck-back home show on the 19th.
Freshly detached from their recent sessions terrorizing Red Room Studios in Seattle, THEORIES have completed recording for two separate upcoming releases with producer Derek Moree; their still untitled debut LP, pending release on a label to be determined, as well as tracks for a split 7" with an act to be announced. While info is slim as of now, be forewarned; this band's most torrential blaststorm is pending, as the new material unequivocally decimates all previous demos and recordings fromTHEORIES. The tracks are currently being mixed and mastered by Scott Hull (Pig Destroyer, Agoraphobic Nosebleed), so stay on-point to keep up with updates on both forthcoming releases to be announced over the coming weeks.
THEORIES continues to tackle all obstacles on their own, utilizing the skills they learned growing up in the Seattle DIY scene and playing abroad, the four members having collectively helped perpetuate or continue to perform with Skarp, Book of Black Earth, Samothrace, Scourge Schematic, Splatterhouse, Iamthethorn and more.
