Meet Sweden’s best kept Rock/Metalsecret, Gjutjärn!

The word Gjutjärn, can be roughly translated from Swedish as ‘Cast Iron’, and that’s exactly how Gjutjärn [from the Stockholm area] sounds.

Intense Swedish sung lyrics heavily influenced by the Norse/Scandinavian mythology and the Scandinavian culture in the Medieval times, blended with pounding heavy/metallic Swedish bad ass Rock, produced by Jocke Skog of Clawfinger/Feared fame.

Gjutjärn debut release will see the light on November the 28th, through the form of a digital EP (to be followed by the physical release shortly after) featuring three tracks of pure, undiluted, steamrolling yet melodic heavy music and the folk-ish heartbreaking ballad ‘Ån’.

Gjutjärn are currently working on their upcoming album ( produced by Mr. Skog as the EP) and their upcoming video whose shooting will take place in the Marsta area in late November.
