Trigger Point Set To Release Shaun Lopez (Far, Deftones) Produced Sophomore Album On March 25th & New Single

Trigger Point have set March 25th, 2014 as the release date for their heavily anticipated Shaun Lopez (Far, Deftones) produced sophomore album “Giving up the Ghost” via THC Music/InGrooves. In anticipation of the album's release, the band have released their new single "Letters to the Living" online.

"This was the first song we wrote for the album and it really set the tone for us both musically and lyrically. The song is about a dream I kept having about dying in a car crash," says Trigger Pointfrontman Taylor Wallace. "Having never gotten to say goodbye, I imagined myself writing a letter to my loved ones from the grave. The theme of the entire album is about letting go and moving on, both in life and in death."

Spring will also see the digital re-release of the band's debut “A Silent Protest”, available on all digital outlets 2/2.

Trigger Point released their debut LP “A Silent Protest”, produced by ex-Machine Head guitarist Logan Mader (Five Finger Death Punch), on Corporate Punishment. The album immediately became an underground favorite, as the band found great success at US Metal and Active Radio, garnering major national and international press. and toured relentlessly for several years, co-headlining the first "Corporate Punishment Tour", with CPR labelmates Allele and Shenoah, as well as a national run with 36 Crazyfists, and sharing stages with the likes ofHatebreed, Motorhead, Meshuggah, Otep, Devil Driver, and more. The group's video for "A Silent Protest" can be seen online.

"This is one of my favorite records that no one's heard. I'm so happy that this album is finally going to be available for everyone to enjoy."- Dave Elitch/Killer Be Killed, (ex) The Mars Volta

"Giving Up The Ghost is unique in a time of over saturated bedroom recordings of mediocrity. It separates itself from the rest through the true emotions you can feel as you almost step into their heads as you listen. You can tell they aren't in it for the chicks and coolness most others do it for." - Johny Chow/Stone Sour
