Sunshine State psychedelic death metal ensemble, ORBWEAVER, is readying to kick off a twenty-date stretch of roadside assaults next week. The live abrasions will commence on Tuesday, February 18th with a special hometown kick off show before the band joins fellow Floridian sludge assassins, Shroud Eater for a westward run of audio debauchery.
Offers guitarist/vocalist Randy Piro (ex-Hate Eternal, Gigan): "We are really excited to team up with our good friends and riff lords, Shroud Eater, for the slow invasion of the Orb-Eaters...a tour which will take us from our homes in Miami, to the West Coast and back. Brains will be twisted, senses warped, and a mysterious trail of green slime will be left in our wake. May the strangers be listening!"

ORBWEAVER will be touring in support of their Strange Transmissions From The Neuralnomicon EP, released upon the masses last Summer. Crowned "twitchy, trippy tech death" by Invisible Oranges,the critically-lauded five-track Strange Transmissions From The Neuralnomicon is a multi-texturedsonic exploration through time and space. Recorded at Miami's Pinecrust Studios with Jonathan Nunez of Torche and mixed/mastered with Brian Elliot at Mana Recording Studios (Hate Eternal, Cannibal Corpse, Goatwhore, Exhumed), the band transcends leagues beyond traditional genre realms with their cosmic fusion of psychedelia, noise, and a warped interpretation of progressive death metal. Shifting between these erratic, trance-like elements, the foursome produce interplanetary pandemonium reminiscent of a Zappa-esque brand of controlled and wildly elegiac chaos.
