The Warriors of Metal, Inc. non-profit organization is very excited to welcome back its one and only record holding, 3 consecutive year headliner from 2009, 2010 and 2011, the Dallas, TX Traditional Metal professionals of ASKA as our Friday night headliner for our 7th Annual Warriors Of Metal Fest which will be held at O'Sheckys LIVE Bar & Grill on Friday, June 27th and Saturday June 28th in Columbus, Ohio. Aska will be supporting their 6th studio album, "Fire Eater" which was released through Germany's Pure Steel Records on September 27th of last year.
Band founder, vocalist and guitarist, George Call states: “When we here at ASKA were approached by the braintrust about coming back to Warriors of Metal and headlining Friday’s portion of the fest I said, ‘Awesome! Who do we gotta kill?’ Not because we actually wanted to kill anyone but you get the sentiment right? After all, who wouldn’t want to get back to, perform for and hang out with those beloved portions of our extended metal family that the Warriors of Metal Fest has come to represent? See, WOM is not just a fest where we perform for fans but one in which we bleed, sweat, laugh and commune with our brothers and sisters of Metal. It really is one big family and the “blood” that unites us is STEEL. And so it is with that sentiment that we look forward to this latest installment of the Warriors of Metal Festival, now indoors, come June - because just as much as you want to see ASKA, ASKA wants to see you.
