VERMITHRAX replaces FLESH ENGINE at Warriors Of Metal Fest VII

The Warriors of Metal, Inc. non-profit organization hereby announces an adjustment to our lineup for this year's show.  While we're disappointed that Philadelphia's FLESH ENGINE cannot be part of our lineup with their 2nd studio album CD release performance this year, we're excited to confirm Pittsburgh's VERMITHRAX as a very suitable replacement.  This True Metal outfit with thrash, Power & Progressive Metal elements was founded by former and founding members of Reading Zero, Nunslaughter, Icarus Witch and Order of Nine and has recently been joined on second guitar by James Malone of Nuclear Blast's Arsis.  VERMITHRAX has been very busily promoting their kickass sounding 5-song debut EP called Vol.1 currently available for FREE download at: VermithraxMetal! The recordings were produced by Christopher Lee Simmonds (Thought Industry, Filter, Emancipation Syndicate) and their new, full-length album is expected in the Summer of 2014.  We hope their album is done, finished and ready for purchase for our audience at the end of June!

On the occasion of FLESH ENGINE's cancellation, band founder and guitarist, Dave Orkin states: "We would like to apologize to our fans and WOM Fest family but we will not be able to come back to perform this year at WOM Fest VII as previously planned.  As many have known, we started recording our new full length CD earlier this year and it's taking much longer, not to mention costing more than we had estimated.  We'll be there in spirit headbanging to all the amazing bands booked to this year's Fest and we strongly urge any and all True Metalheads to support Datis & Lea Alaee and the entire Warriors Of Metal Fest crew, volunteers and bands. Last year we had a great time and the bands all kicked ass!"

VERMITHRAX vocalist and founding member, Chris Roy states: "Vermithrax is excited to be part of this stellar line up gathered together for this year's Warriors Of Metal Fest VII.  We've watched this event grow over the years and are now psyched to share our twin shred attack with James (Malone of Arsis) on second lead for the very first time in a festival setting.  We're really looking forward to hanging with true metal fans on this, our first Metalfest booking with James while sharing the stage with some amazing bands and lighting the sky on FIRE!"
