VALLENFYRE is the brainchild of Gregor Mackintosh (songwriter and guitarist of PARADISE LOST), along with members of MY DYING BRIDE, AT THE GATES, and DOOM. VALLENFYRE is not a one-off project-- they will continue as a band that will also play live in 2012. The full line-up is:

Hamish Glencross (MY DYING BRIDE) - Rhythm and Lead Guitars
Mully - Rhythm Guitars
Scoot (DOOM, EXTINCTION OF MANKIND) - Bass

A Fragile King will be available as CD, limited Digipak (incl. bonus track) and 180gr vinyl LP (incl. the bonus track and a poster). The vinyl is limited to:
- 200 copies on clear vinyl
- 100 copies on gold/black marbled vinyl
- the black vinyl is not limited

And everybody who really wants to buy a digital copy of the album can do it via iTunes and the likes, but it won't sound as good as on vinyl. In case you don't have a record player, you should ask Santa Claus NOW because in 3 years the world will collapse and there won't be electricity to run your CD players and iPods any more-- while you can still play your vinyl with a Gramophone!

WINDS OF PLAGUE: PREMIERES NEW MUSIC VIDEO!

WINDS OF PLAGUE has just premiered their new music video for "Refined In The Fire". Directed by Jeremy Schott of MentalSuplex, the video keeps in the Halloween vein with blood covered band members and zombies. "Being a big fan of both horror films and Halloween we wanted to do a video to tie into both." Says vocalist Johnny Plague. "We created a video set in a post apocalyptic era... Not too long into the video you realize the cause of the end of society as we know it, ZOMBIES! I play the role of zombie slaying bad mother fucker roaming the dessert looking for salvation. Instead i find a shack infested with all sorts of evil. To capture this horror based music video i recruited my people at Knotts Scary farm. Designer Brooke Walters as well as a legion of monsters. Happy Halloween followers of Plague, stay bloody!"

"Refined In The Fire" is taken from the band's latest album Against The World which was released earlier this year. Fans can catch WINDS OF PLAGUE this November for their headlining "Thrash and Burn" Tour. A full list of dates can be seen here.
