CRUCIFYRE Completes Work On Sophomore Album

Swedish infernal Thrashers CRUCIFYRE have recently completed work on their follow-up album to the 2010 debut “Infernal Earthly Divine”, titled “Black Magic Fire”.

Recorded, mixed and mastered at one of Sweden’s top-notch recording studios X-Level Studios (ABBA, Roxette, Lady GaGa, etc), expect no less than the Blackened Death Metal that CRUCIFYRE have already established themselves to be and indoctrinate the hellish satanic force in 2014!

CRUCIFYRE skinsbasher Yasin Hillborg has this to say about the upcoming new record: “CRUCIFYRE has a sound that relies on its own strengths but if you need references, there are songs with intense and evil Slayer-ish riffs as well as heavy doom-laden Sabbath parts. Add to that Black Metal-era Bathory and you will just about get the picture. Overall, “Black Magic Fire” is a lot more varied than “Infernal Earthly Divine” and takes CRUCIFYRE to new grounds in songwriting and concepts. Worship! Die Hard!”

In other CRUCIFYRE-related news, bass-player Henrik “Doltz” Nilsson recently exited the group and is being replaced by new four-stringer Karl Envall (ex-Kaamos, ex-Repugnant).

CRUCIFYRE is:

Erik Sahlström - Vocals

Urban Skytt - Guitar

TG - Guitar

Karl Envall - Bass

Yasin Hillborg - Drums

The true legend continues on with a newfound demon under the moniker CRUCIFYRE! With an astounding “Thessalonian Death Cult” demo under their belt, the debut full-length album “Infernal Earthly Divine” perfectly integrates the raw and unhinged sound from where they left off, proving once again old-school Swedish Death Metal’s authenticity at best.

With members comprising of the legendary Morbid, Afflicted, Crematory and General Surgery, “Infernal Earthly Divine” is undoubtedly the most stripped-down, terrorizing Death Metal in its purest essence!

CRUCIFYRE Signs With Pulverised Records

Emerging from the depths of Stockholm Hell comes CRUCIFYRE, the latest inclusion to the Pulverised roster!

CRUCIFYRE was spawned from members of the legendary Swedish pioneers Morbid, Crematory and Afflicted, and together with some of the most affluential bands such as Nasum and General Surgery.

The band recently completed their much awaited debut full-length album, a follow-up to their 2006's "Thessalonian Death Cult" Demo. More details and information about the new album will be revealed in the near future.

In an official press statement from CRUCIFYRE's drummer Y. Hillborg: "Working with Pulverised Records feels great. It's like we've come home and have been given the chance to do what we do best, to deliver auditory terror in the most evil and aggressive way".

States Pulverised Records label manager Roy Yeo: "With present and past members from such highly respected bands, it is really interesting to see what these guys could come up with in CRUCIFYRE. I can only say that the debut album has exceeded beyond my expectations!

CRUCIFYRE is exactly the kind of band that displayed the attitude of those early demo bands and with the integral nastiness that Death Metal should be known for."
