Sweden`s Dark Tranquillity has posted an official new album song for stream "For Broken Words" taken of the upcoming full-length entitled "Construct" which will be released through Century Media Records on May 27th, 2013. The song can be heard below.
One of the most exciting bands in melodic death metal, DARK TRANQUILLITY, released their first album 20 years ago. New and old fans will be happy to hear that they are ready to announce their 10th album.
The band comments: "Greetings, Darklings! After having played over 200 shows in every corner of the world in support of the 'We Are The Void' album, it's time to focus inwards and lock ourselves up in the studio. Months and months of hard songwriting work has paid off, and the recording sessions will start early this year. Further details will be announced in due time, but for now we can reveal that the album will be entitled 'Construct' and that we're very excited to have Jens Bogren (PARADISE LOST, OPETH, KATATONIA) taking care of the mix. The release date is set for May 28 in North America."
The band will be in a worldwide touring in support of the album in 2013. The next chance to see DARK TRANQUILLITY live will be in Dubai, where the band has never played before. Some European summer festival appearances have also been announced, and the band is currently working on a US tour for this upcoming September. Soon more tour dates!

"Iridium", the new video from Swedish melodic death metal "Dark Tranquillity", can be seen below. The song comes off the band's ninth album, "We Are The Void" which sold about 2,100 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at number 15 chart position in the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers), which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those that have never appeared Top 100 of the Billboard 200.
