IN-QUEST: New Album Cover Artwork, Release Date Revealed

Belgian progressive death metallers IN-QUEST will release their eight album, "8 - The Odyssey Of Eternity", on September 1st. The follow-up to 2009’s “Made Out of Negative Matter” was recorded, mixed and mastered at Split Second Sound with producer Jochem Jacobs (ex-TEXTURES). The artwork for the CD was created by Trine + Kim Design Studio.

Commented artwork designers Trine Paulsen and Kim Sølve: "The front cover illustration is an octagram and pretty much everything in the artwork is built solely upon an obsession with the figure 8 and eternity. We wanted the artwork to have some of the grandioseness that we feel the concept imply…"

IN-QUEST: New Album Details Revealed

Belgian progressive death metallers IN-QUEST have set "8 - The Odyssey Of Eternity" as the title of its much-anticipated new album, scheduled for a late spring release. The follow-up to 2009’s “Made Out of Negative Matter” was recorded at Split Second Sound studio with producer Jochem Jacobs (ex-TEXTURES).

Commented IN-QUEST guitarist Douglas Verhoeven: "As the world didn't perish in 2012, we are back celebrating our existence' eternity with a massive concept album. For over a year, these songs and themes have been distilled and purified into perfection where everything is connected. I am proud to finally come out with the first of news about our new album. A dense, catchy, polyrhythmic 8 string cyclic opus which will for sure surprise a lot of our fans. A new sound, a redefinition or our core elements, and for sure a new form of aggression. Technical, rich and thick with typical IQ bombastic riffing, lyrical insanity and hypnotic melody work. Think heavy... beyond heavy!

In-Quest signs with Morbid Management

Belgian progressive death metallers IN-QUEST have inked a deal with the metal band management agency Morbid Management (SAILLE).

Commented IN-QUEST guitarist Douglas Verhoeven: “We are very happy with this news. We can't wait to release our new material!"

Stated Morbid Management band manager Willem Van Maele: “I’m honored to announce that from now on I will be representing IN-QUEST. When I discovered metal I visited IN-QUEST gigs on a monthly basis, working with them is a huge chance for me!"
