Shadowside announces new album release date in Japan

Band is confirmed to play on Metal Open Air Festival in April

The success of "Inner Monster Out", considered by the large majority of the media in Brazil as one of the best releases of 2011, has reached other parts of the world. Shadowside has just signed with Spiritual Beast for the release of this material on March 14. The album reaches stores in Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea and China.

"We are extremely excited about releasing this album in Japan and I don't think it could have happened in a better moment for us. The album was just recently released in Brazil with great success, we love it since it's exactly what we were looking for: a heavy, full of energy, straightforward yet melodic Metal album. The third Shadowside record was recorded, mixed and mastered by Fredrik Nordström (In Flames, Arch Enemy, Dream Evil, Evergrey, Hammerfall, Dimmu Borgir) in Gothenburg, Sweden. The CD features special guest appearances of singers  Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity), Björn "Speed" Strid (Soilwork) and Niklas Isfeldt (Dream Evil).

Recently, Shadowside was confirmed to play at the festival Metal Open Air, that will run from April 20-22 and will take place in São Luís, Brazil. The event already has in the cast so many Brazilian and international bands such as Anthrax, Blind Guardian, Exodus, Megadeth, Symphony X, Venom, Almah, Andre Matos, Hangar, Korzus, Matanza, Shaman, Torture Squad e others.

Also, Shadowside won "Metal band of the year" on the third edition of Prêmio Rock Show 2011, one of the most important music awards in Brazil dedicated to Rock and Pop music.

Shadowside on internet live show on Thursday

Shadowside fans who are looking forward to a show in their area have now an opportunity to check out the band's high energy live performance. Shadowside releases version of Ace of Spades by Motörhead on the internet

Brazilian Metal band Shadowside has released a version of "Ace of Spades", Motörhead classic, on PledgeMusic.com, where the new album "Inner Monster Out" is also available.

Any item purchased on Pledge Music also includes the download of "Ace of Spades" as well as all "Inner Monster Out" tracks in mp3 plus access to exclusive material such as photos and videos. This song is a bonus track for pledgers only and its availability is limited to the portal. Part of the money raised on this campaign will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society.

"Inner Monster Out" will be released digitally on August 30 on SHP Records. A CD release will follow after that.

Shadowside unleashes samples of all songs from the new album Inner Monster Out!

Brazilian female-fronted band Shadowside has partially ended the fans expectations, after all requests on their social networks. One of the main representatives of Brazilian Metal music nowadays, the quartet has posted samples of all songs from the upcoming album "Inner Monster Out" on their MySpace, Reverbnation, Facebook and PledgeMusic.com, website responsible for the album pre-sales as well as unique items and the Pledge Music-exclusive song, a version of "Ace of Spades" originally by Motörhead. Also available for preview is "Inútil", bonus track in Portuguese for Brazil.
