KONGH to tour Europe in April 2014

Swedish doomsters KNOGH will support their mighty new album "Sole Creation" on a European tour. The "Ten Years Of Doom" tour will be made of two parts.
One in April, including Denmark, Germany, Poland, Austria, Belgium, France, Hollandand UK (poster with dates can be seen below). The second part is soon to be announced and will feature other regions of Europe. Commented by the band: "April 2014 happens to be exactly ten years since the formation of Kongh, and this journey will be a celebration of that. Total heaviness guaranteed!"

The Swedish Grammy-nominated band released their latest album "Sole Creation" in February 2013. Quoted as "an absolute colossus" by Papmatters as well as a "chest-puffing good time" by Decibel Magazine, the release can be listened to in full.

With a guest appearance of John Doe from Craft, the album was recorded at Teknikkompaniet (Vetlanda, Sweden) by Peter Lundin; mixed and mastered by Magnus Lindberg of Cult Of Luna fame.

KONGH to re-release "Counting Heartbeats"

Sweden's premiere doomsters KONGH will re-release their critically acclaimed, grammy-nominated in homeland debut album "Counting Heartbeats". The album, containing over 50 minutes of additional playing time in comparison with the original version, is set to be released on the 24th of September worldwide via Agonia Records.

The re-released "Counting Heartbeats" will feature two bonuses, never released on CD before: the split LP with Ocean Chief and the "demo 2006" - band's first ever recording. "Counting Heartbeats" will be available only as a limited de-luxe double digipack. The first batch of CDs attainable at the Agonia Records Webstore will additionally be available with an exclusive silver-print t-shirt.

KONGH to tour with MESHUGGAH

Sweden's emerging Doom Metal/Rock outfit KONGH have teamed up with experimental metal titans MESHUGGAH and will be the main support on their Scandinavian tour this May.

"Sole Creation" is the title of KONGH's latest album. Quoted as "taxing, dangerous and by all means exciting" by The Metal Observer as well as "a chest-puffing good time" by Decibel Magazine, the release hit the shops on the 5th of February in Europe and 19th of February in North Amercia on Agonia Records, and has by far received extremely warm reviews worldwide, including both underground as well as popular magazines ("Sole Creation is an absolute colossus" - Popmatters). What's possibly the most emotional and one of the best written compositions in KONGH's discography, can now be downloaded for free from Soundcloud. The 4th and final song from the Sludge/Doom Swedes forthcoming "Sole Creation" album, poetically entitled "Skymning" and featuring a great clean vocal line by David Johansson, can be downloaded (or streamed) here.

Swedish Doom-Rock-Sludge Metal outfit KONGH have premiered a new song at YouTube. First 7 minutes of the title track of band's newest album "Sole Creation" is streaming below.

In my opinion, the album is more dynamic and has much more emphasis on melodies than our previous works. At the same time it maintains the harshness and it's undoubtedly the heaviest slab of metal we've done as well."
