MAAX: Unholy Rock & Roll Out Now; Live Dates Announced

Unholy Rock & Roll, the latest release from those metal thrashing bastards in MAAX is now available in Digi-CD format through Abyss Records. A beer-fueled noisefest that bulldozes Motorhead's attitude into Entombed's groove, Unholy Rock & Roll is everything a dirty thrash album should be. To celebrate the release of Unholy Rock & Roll, MAAX will invade the Heorot Pub and Draught Housein Muncie, IN with guests THE HORDE, SOSAYETH and DISDAIN for a CD Release Party. The release party will see MAAX officially welcome drummer Dave Dalton (Legion, Ratzkrieg, SoSayeth) into the band. MAAX will also join BRUTAL TRUTH, HIRAX, INTERNAL BLEEDING and many more at this year's Goregrowler's Ball in San Antonio, TX, which runs November 18th - 20th. MAAX To Play Central Illnois Metalfest This Weekend!



Abyss Records' resident maniacs  MAAX will invade Urbana, Illinois this weekend for an appearance at this year's Central Illinois Metalfest. Dubbed "The Sickest Fest In The Midwest", CIM 2011 features some of the biggest and best names in extreme metal over three days (July 22nd - 24th). MAAX takes the stage on Saturday, July 23rd. While you're at the fest, be sure visit Abyss Records' booth for new releases and merch from the likes of HAT, BANE, FESTER, DIABOLICAL, HYPERBOREAN and many more. Terrorizer Magazine touted the release for its "filth, dirty, rotten, recorded deep in a hole don't fuck with us savagery" and DOA Magazine called the EP "beer drinking, hell-raising Punk/Thrash metal with FUCKING BALLS!"

MAAX Set To Spread Their Filth Across The Midwest Fest Scene


This Saturday (June 18th, 2011), Abyss Records' resident maniacs MAAX will carpet bomb their hometown Indianapolis, Indiana with their bastardized black n' roll when they take the stage at POUND FEST 2. Featuring 15 of the area's premier metal acts, POUND FEST 2 takes place at High On The Hill (3729 W.16th Street Indianapolis, IN). For details, visit the fest's event page.

Abyss Records' resident maniacs MAAX have been added to the already stacked lineup at this year's Central Illinois Metalfest. Dubbed "The Sickest Fest In The Midwest", CIM 2011 features some of the biggest and best names in extreme metal over three days (July 22nd - 24th). MAAX will be assaulting fest-goers with their bastardized black n' roll on Saturday, July 23rd.

MAAX Added To Doom Over Indy Bill







Abyss Records' resident maniacs Maax will join The Gates Of Slumber, Ordoruin, Earthen Grave and Stone Magnum for this year's Doom Over Indy fest at the historic Melody Inn in Indianapolis, IN on Saturday, April 23rd. With an old-school blend of blackened thrash and trad metal topped off with a healthy dose of Motorhead worship, Maax guarran-damn-tees to deliver one of the night's most unforgettable performances.
