NOTHNEGAL's "Decadence" has been postponed to February 28th in North America

The release of NOTHNEGAL's debut album "Decadence" has been postponed to February 28th in North America (rest of the world is still set for January 20th).

The Maldivian powerhouse will play a small Asian tour, as follows:

NOTHNEGAL will offer a copy of "Decadence" to 10 of their fans on Facebook. All you need to do is go to the band's Facebook page and "Like" it! The band will then pick 10 fans randomly.

NOTHNEGAL's debut album is entitled "Decadence" and will hit the stores on January 20th (24th in North America), 2012. The Maldivian band offers you the opportunity to listen to the album with a crystal clear sound on Bose QuietComfort headphones! To have a chance to win this awesome prize, you will need to remix the song "Janus". Here is how to proceed:

Go to Season of Mist's Facebook page and listen to "Janus" in the Media Player, then download the instrumental stems of the song from NOTHNEGAL's website (you can either download all stems together in a ZIP file or as individual files).

To remix the song, you can use your favourite audio editing software (Pro-Tools, Cubase, Logic, Reason or whichever you prefer). You are allowed to add your own vocals, guitars, drums or whatever instrument you want, as long as you are creative! Please upload your remix to YouTube or Soundcloud and send the link to contests@nothnegal.net or post it on NOTHNEGAL's Facebook Wall.

The competition will be running for one month, up until January 20th, which is the release date of "Decadence". Early February, the band will pick the best three remixes and will post them on their Facebook and/or YouTube pages. All three winners will be offered two NOTHNEGAL T-shirts and a copy of "Decadence" in limited digipak edition. In addition to these items, the very best of the three remixers will get a set of Bose QuietComfort headphones and his remix will be included on NOTHNEGAL's next album!

The 5-day journey will take place at the Fihalhohi Island Resort, in summer 2012. The winner will receive one return flight to the Maldives, an all-inclusive stay (including scuba-diving and other water sport activities) for two persons and a meet & greet with the band. NOTHNEGAL's debut album is finally in sight! The Maldivian band named their upcoming full-length "Decadence".

"'Decadence' is NOTHNEGAL's first official studio release and the first release featuring the current line-up, with Fufu handling both the guitar and vocal duties, Marco on keyboards and Kevin on drums", guitarist Hilarl comments.

"The writing process of 'Decadence' began in summer 2010 and has been quite a challenge for us as we have taken time to do a lot of experimentation on the sound shifting more towards thrash and progressive metal with industrial elements making it entirely different from the sound we had on our 2009 4 track demo, 'Antidote of Realism'.

"With a completely new and original sound and attitude we feel like we starting again from scratch as we believe NOTHNEGAL have finally discovered its sound with 'Decadence'."

"Decadence" was mixed by Greg Reely (FEAR FACTORY, MACHINE HEAD, DEVIN TOWNSEND) and Ahti Kortelainen (SENTENCED, SONATA ARCTICA), and has been scheduled for a January 20th (January 24th in the US) 2012 release.
