SÓLSTAFIR "Fjara" New Video

Hot on the heels of new album "Svartir Sandar", SÓLSTAFIR recently shot a video for the critically acclaimed "Fjara", in their homeland Iceland. The exclusive worldwide premiere of the video started today on the website of German Metal Hammer.

"Svartir Sandar" is available as double CD and limited edition box set (male and female versions) on Season of Mist's e-shop. Few copies left!

SÓLSTAFIR entered the Icelandic album sales charts

SÓLSTAFIR's new album "Svartir Sandar" entered the Icelandic album sales charts, ranking at number 12! In Finland, it also reached number 11 in the independent record store charts and number 41 in the national charts. 

On other news, SÓLSTAFIR are currently working on a video for new song "Fjara", which will actually be more like a short film than a music video. It features Icelandic singer/actress Rebekka Kolbeinsdóttir with American director Bowen Staines, who has worked for National Geographic among others, and Icelandic co-director Gunnar "Gussi" Guðbjörnsson who already worked with the band. The video will ready before the end of November.

All formats of "Svartir Sandar", including the limited box set with double digipak, M/F t-shirt, shot glasses and ice-cube tray, are now available on Season of Mist's e-shop.

SÓLSTAFIR "Svartir Sandar" listen to the whole album!

"Svartir Sandar", the new masterpiece of Iceland's very own SÓLSTAFIR, will be released on this Friday (next Tuesday in the US), but you can already listen to the whole album on Finland's Inferno website. Go check it out now because the stream is only available this week!

Inferno also graced SÓLSTAFIR with the cover of their October issue.

Besides the 2CD digipak edition and two different vinyl LP versions, "Svartir Sandar" will also be available as a collector's box set limited to 500 copies, including the following items:

• "Svartir Sandar" on double CD in Digipak
• T-shirt or Girly with front and back print
• 4 frosted shot glasses printed with art taken from "Svartir Sandar"
• Black ice cube tray with SÓLSTAFIR logo and customized ice cubes

This box set will be released on November 11th but can already be pre-ordered on Season of Mist's e-shop.
