CIANIDE (US) The Dying Truth + Demos Official 2LP set

The Crypt announced the debut album from Chicago Death Metal kings CIANIDE! For the first time ever on vinyl is presented the band's debut masterpiece "The Dying Truth" coupled with their "Funeral" and "Second Life" demos. 

Formed in 1988, CIANIDE's vision was to create the heaviest Death Metal in existence... and they DID! Truly CRUSHING and DEATH HEAVY, the way it was meant to be, finally seeing the light of day once again, on glorious vinyl format!!!

Strictly limited to a one-time only pressing of 500 hand-numbered copies, 200 sets will be on 180 gram classic black vinyl and 300 on gold  / black splatter vinyl. These amazing slabs of wax come housed in a 350 gram, semi-gloss printed, gatefold jacket featuring the original CD cover art, "The Last Judgement" by Jan Van Eyck, lyrics and new extensive liner notes by Mike Perun. Also included is a 2 sided insert with classic gig flyers and unpublished, original illustrations band photos. 

Included in all 500 copies is a luxurious 24" x 36" (60.96 cm x 91.44 cm) poster of the original Jan Van Eyck "The Last Judgment" cover artwork.

SIGH (Jpn) Hail Horror Hail Official triple gatefold 3LP + Occult Book

For the first time on Vinyl, The Crypt present Sigh's 1997 masterpiece Hail Horror Hail. This is the first full-length album of Sigh's to explore their more well known avant-garde/experimental sound.

Strictly limited to a one-time only pressing of 500 hand-numbered copies, 200 sets will be on 180 gram heavy black vinyl while the other 300 will be on 180 gram heavy orange / black splatter vinyl. These killer slabs of wax come housed in a 350 gram, reverse board, triple gatefold jacket featuring the original Yoshitoshi "Ubame" cover painting. Like previous SIGH releases, we've included an obi strip. To keep the obi strip pristine during shipping, it will be housed inside the jacket. In addition to the original album recording, this set also features a full, alternate original rough mix of the album by the band.

The 3LP set features lyrics, new liner notes from Mirai and exclusive band photos.  In addition, the layout uses original elements just like the original CD release by Cacophonous Records, for complete attention to detail - even down to the typeface.

As an added bonus, the long rumored book on Japanese occult authored by Mirai will finally see the light of day in the form of a 8.5" x 11"  zine style 12 page booklet, appropriately garnished with Ukiyo-e illustrations from Yoshitoshi's anthology "Thirty-six ghosts".

Included in all 500 copies is a luxurious 12" x 36" Japanese "wall scroll" style poster of the Yoshitoshi cover painting.Unfortunately do to the higher than normal license fee as well as the extra cost for the book, this set is slightly more expensive than usual, but definitely worth every penny.

AS SERENITY FADES (Fin): Earthborn + Lowering Sunset / AUGUST MOON (Fin): Rosegardens Official Gatefold 2 LP set

After much anticipation, finally for the first time ever on Vinyl, The Crypt  presented the lost Finnish gem "Earthborn" by AS SERENITY FADES plus the cult "Lowering Sunset" demo tracks as well as the ultra-obscure demo "Rosegardens" from AUGUST MOON featuring AS SERENITY FADES members Tom Henriksson and Peter Viherkanto.

Strictly limited to a one-time only pressing of 500 hand-numbered copies, 200 sets will be on 180 gram heavy black vinyl while the other 300 will be on 180 gram heavy silver vinyl. These killer slabs of wax come housed in a 350 gram, semi-gloss printed, triple gatefold jacket featuring the original classic "Earthborn" cover painting by Saku Lumivirta, as well as the original "August Moon" cover painting by Markku Mäkelä that was never used. LP one will feature the AS SERENITY FADES MCD + Demo material whereas LP 2 will feature only the AUGUST MOON "Rosegardens" demo and will be pressed at 45 RPM for optimal sound.

The 2LP set features lyrics, classic interviews, new liner notes from members of both bands and exclusive band photos.  In addition the layout uses original elements just like the original CD release by Adipocere Records, for complete attention to detail - even down to the typeface.

A CANOROUS QUINTET (Swe) As Tears / The Time of Autumn Official LP

For the first time on vinyl, THE CRYPT announced that we will release the complete discography on LP format from melodic Swedish Death Metal act A CANOROUS QUINTET.  Formed in 1991, they released the "The Time Of Autumn" demo followed by their debut MCD "As Tears" and two full lengths; "Silence of the World Beyond" and "The Only Pure Hate". Although not as well known and many bands in the Swedish Death Metal scene, ACQ features members from such prominent acts as AMON AMARTH, NIDEN DIV. 187, OCTOBER TIDE and GUIDANCE OF SIN. The band then split-up in 1999. In 2005, they reformed under the name The Plague (Swe), but later changed their name to This Ending. Although short lived and underrated, A Canorous Quintet stands amongst the best Death Metal acts in the history of Sweden.

These amazing slabs of wax come housed in a 350 gram, semi-gloss printed, gatefold jacket featuring the original "As Tears" cover artwork, lyrics, new extensive liner notes by Linus Nirbrant and Mårten Hansen, and exclusive band photos.  In addition the layout uses original elements just like the original MCD release, for complete attention to detail - even down to the typeface.

In addition to the classic 1995 MCD, this  LP features the "Time of Autumn Demo" taken from the original dat recording.
