Trigger Point Stream Entire New Album "Giving Up The Ghost" Online

Los Angeles based Trigger Point’s highly anticipated sophomore album “Giving up the Ghost” comes out this week via THC Music/InGrooves, but the band is streaming the entire record online. Trigger Point’s new album “Giving up the Ghost”, which was produced by Shaun Lopez (Crosses, Far, Deftones), is available with exclusive bonus track with the hard copy version online.

“This album is very special to us as a band; we put a lot of time and effort into it. We spent two years locked in a rehearsal room playing the parts over and over again until they were perfect. Inside we knew that it would be the album that finally put us on the map or it would be our Swan song. Either way we wanted to put it all on the table and not hold back. We said everything we wanted to say and played every note and fill like it would be our last. To us it is as close to perfect as we could get it, I hope that others enjoy it as much as we do.”

Trigger Point released their debut LP “A Silent Protest”, produced by ex-Machine Head guitarist Logan Mader (Five Finger Death Punch), on Corporate Punishment. The album immediately became an underground favorite, as the band found great success at US Metal and Active Radio, garnering major national and international press. The group toured relentlessly for several years, co-headlining the first "Corporate Punishment Tour", with CPR labelmates Allele and Shenoah, as well as a national run with 36 Crazyfists, and sharing stages with the likes of Hatebreed, Motorhead, Meshuggah, Otep, Devil Driver, and more. The group's video for "A Silent Protest" can be seen online.

Trigger Point Release Video For "Cabin Song" Online From New Album "Giving Up The Ghost"

Trigger Point have premiered their new video for “Cabin Song” online.

The song appears on Trigger Point’s new album, “Giving up the Ghost”, which was produced by Shaun Lopez (Far, Deftones) and is set for a March 25th, 2014 release date through THC Music/InGrooves.

“This song is about my personal struggles with insomnia in the past, which can be maddening. So for the video we really tried to make the viewer feel that sense of discomfort and irritability that comes when you are tossing and turning all night. It’s mixed with sleepwalking and dream sequences and performance footage," says Trigger Point frontman Taylor Wallace. “All three of us live in different cities so we actually filmed our parts separately, which I think brings on the feeling of isolation. We hope that the viewer feels disoriented and a little on edge after watching it.”

"This is one of my favorite records that no one's heard. I'm so happy that this album is finally going to be available for everyone to enjoy."- Dave Elitch/Killer Be Killed, (ex) The Mars Volta

"Giving Up The Ghost is unique in a time of over saturated bedroom recordings of mediocrity. It separates itself from the rest through the true emotions you can feel as you almost step into their heads as you listen. You can tell they aren't in it for the chicks and coolness most others do it for." - Johny Chow/Stone Sour
