After years of helping the faithful with prayer and trickery, guilt-stricken clergyman Cotton Marcus (Patrick Fabian) decides to expose his own chicanery by filming a documentary. With his crew in tow, Marcus arrives at the Louisiana farm of Louis Sweetzer, a devout man who believes his daughter, Nell, is possessed. When Marcus' usual tricks fail, he realizes that he is face-to-face with true evil, and must find a way to save himself, Nell, and the others before it is too late.
