FESTER is a Norwegian metal band founded in 1989 consisting of Jan Skjolden (Drums), Jørgen Skjolden (Bass), Rolf Tommy Simonsen (Vocals, Guitars) and Tiger Mathisen (Vocals, Guitars). The band released two full length albums (“Winter Of Sin” 1992 and “Silence” 1994). Fester's unique brand of doomy death metal has been described as heavy, yet gloomy and atmospheric. Abyss Records is proud to reissue this classic album which includes a bonus live track.
