Gorgoroth: Derby Concert Called Off

Unfortunately the Gorgoroth concert at Redemption in Derby, UK, on 27.11.2010 will not happen, due to issues completely out of the band's control.

An alternative location is being searched for, but due to the short notice nothing is certain at the moment.

Gorgoroth Statement:

We at The Old Bell and Redemption must, unfortunately, announce the following:

Due to licensing issues the Gorgoroth show and opening night of Redemption Club Derby is now postponed until further notice.

This is NOT a cancelation as the wheels are in motion for the show to be re-arranged for sometime towards the end of their current European tour. The venue, although brand spanking new, is ready and will definitely be open for show on the 10th December with UK Subs, English Dogs and Poundaflesh, as well as the club night. More information and a new date will follow as soon as we have it and you’ll be the first to know.

We are very sorry to everyone planning on coming and we understand that, if you have made travel plans/ hotel arrangements, this is incredibly frustrating.

Below is a FAQ.

Can I get my tickets refunded?
Yes, but we’d recommend you wait at least until we have a new date first. If you bought them from Ticketline.co.uk you’ll be receiving information about the gig being postponed and will have an option to refund them.
If you bought your tickets from The Old Bell, just drop in when you can and we can refund your money, make sure you bring the ticket with you of course.

Will the line-up change?
Quite possibly. We’ll let you know as soon as we hear anything.

Is it because the venue isn’t ready?
No. The venue is spotless and is ready for some kick as gigs and club nights.

What do you mean? Licensing issues?
Any venue that puts on live music needs to have a live entertainment license. This is a document that says it’s OK to put on bands/acts/dancers etc. This is where the issue lies.

For more information about this, please see the venue's statement here:www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=124483654273564
